Over the course of each year we have lots of littles ones passing through our refuges and outreach services, celebrating a birthday while they are with us.

Birthdays should be a special and exciting day for all children, no matter the situation. Here at Saoirse we want to try and make a little bit of magic for any birthday boys or girls with us, and so we are starting our Birthday Wishes Fund.

The money raised from this appeal will purchase gift vouchers for various stores, that we will have on hand to allocate to mothers whos little one is coming up on a birthday. This allows mam and maybe other brothers and sisters head out, choose a gift the birthday boy or girl would love, bringing a bit of joy to all the family while also putting the power back in her hands, enabling the mother to independantly provide for her family.
